Don Bousquet is a local humorist who has always been a favorite of mine. He has several books and is featured in many newspapers and magazines. For the record, I like the plain chowder. This chowder is made without the milk/cream of the white or the tomato of the red. I haven't found a place outside of RI that offers 'clear' chowder but then I don't usually look for it.
